Plant and seed fair
On Saturday 30th June, as part of the Hythe Festival, we have our second Plant and Seed Fair, following on from the highly successful inaugural one in April, which attracted well over 100 visitors.
Once more, John and Kay have kindly provided their ‘tin church’ on Stade Street for the morning. Doors open at 9.30am and it runs until midday.
On offer, as well as plants and seeds to buy or swap, will be second-hand gardening books, gardening equipment, local produce, a bric-a-brac stall, home-made cakes and savouries, the chance to sign up for a range of Transition courses (see events section for details) and to learn about Transition Hythe – as well as to look round the tin church itself.
